1. General Information:

​

Returns accepted by the merchant are solely for defective items. We do not accept returns or exchanges unless the item you purchased is defective, except for the withdrawal period. If you receive a defective item, please contact us at the email address below and provide product details (product type + SN number on the product) and the defect. We will then instruct you on how to return the product. You will be responsible for the shipping costs associated with returning your item. We are not responsible for any losses or damages that occur during transportation. For all returns, you must prepay the shipping and insurance fees. If your return is eligible for a refund, it will not include any shipping and handling fees that may appear on the packaging slip or invoice. Once we receive the returned product, we will inspect it and notify you by email within a reasonable time if you are entitled to a refund or exchange due to the defect. If you are eligible for an exchange or refund, we will replace the product or refund the purchase price (according to the original payment method). The shipping and handling fees you have already paid are non-refundable, and the refunded amounts will not include the cost of reshipment. It may take a maximum of 15 working days after receiving our email before you see the refund on your statement.

2. Withdrawal Period:

​

The withdrawal period allows consumers to have a fourteen (14) day period to change their mind in case of purchases made online, by phone, or remotely.

The fourteen (14) day period starts from the day after the conclusion of the contract or the delivery of the goods. If this period expires on a Saturday, Sunday, or public holiday, it is extended to the next working day: which includes all weekdays, except the weekly rest day (usually Sunday) and public holidays usually not worked by the company.

 

3. Returns for Unopened Items:

We accept returns of new and unopened items. You can return unopened items in their original packaging within 14 days of your purchase, with a receipt or proof of purchase. If 14 days have passed since your purchase, we cannot offer you a refund or exchange. In the case of this return, the shipping costs will be fully covered by SQUIDDY. To track the status of your return, please contact us at the email address below (Point 10).

4. Exchanges:

​

We only exchange goods that are defective or damaged. When you believe a product is defective, please contact us within 14 days of your purchase at the phone number or email address below and provide product details (product type + SN number on the product) and the defect. We will then instruct you on how to return the product.

5. Exceptions:​\

​

Certain items are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. These items are specified on the product page.

6. Shipping:

​

You will be responsible for paying your shipping costs to return your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the return shipping costs will be deducted from it. The time it takes for your exchanged product to reach you may vary depending on where you live.

If you are shipping an item, consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We do not guarantee that we will receive the item you return to us. We are not responsible for any losses or damages that occur during transportation.

To return or exchange the item you purchased, please mail it, along with a copy of your receipt and any other information about your purchase, to the address provided in the contact details below (Point 10).

7. Process:

Once we receive your item, we will inspect it and notify you by email within a reasonable time if you are entitled to a refund or exchange. If you are eligible for a refund, we will refund the purchase price, and a credit will be applied to the original payment method. The shipping and handling fees you have already paid are non-refundable, and the refunded amounts will not include the shipping cost. It may take a maximum of 15 working days after receiving our email before you see the refund on your statement. If you are eligible for an exchange, we will send you a new item to the original shipping address.

 

8. Late or Missing Refunds:

If you have not yet received your refund, please check your bank account again. Then contact the issuer of your credit card, as there may be a delay before your refund is officially displayed. Next, contact your bank. There is often a processing time required before a refund is posted. If, after completing all these steps, you still have not received your refund, please contact us at contact@squiddy.fr.

9. Warranty:

​

The products are delivered with a contractual warranty of 2 years on all our products, from the delivery date, subject to the use of the goods under normal conditions. This warranty covers the non-conformity of products to the order and any hidden defects resulting from a material, design, or manufacturing defect affecting the delivered products and making them unsuitable for use. Under these conditions, SQUIDDY will replace, repair, or refund products or parts under warranty. Products must be checked by the customer upon delivery, and any claim, reservation, or dispute regarding missing items and visible defects must be made under the conditions set out in the articles above. In case of visible defects, defective parts will be replaced by SQUIDDY, subject to verification of the alleged defects. The customer must provide any justification as to the reality of the observed defects, and SQUIDDY reserves the right to carry out, directly or indirectly, any observation and verification on-site.

The reporting of existing defects at the time of delivery, and revealed after the receipt of the products, must be made by the customer by postal mail to the address of SQUIDDY's registered office within ten (10) days following the date of delivery.

No action for non-compliance can be brought by the customer more than 10 days after the delivery of the products. It is expressly agreed by the customer's acceptance of these general conditions of sale that after the expiration of this period, the customer cannot invoke the non-compliance of the products, nor oppose it in a counterclaim to defend himself in the event of a debt recovery action brought by SQUIDDY. In case of non-compliance with these conditions, SQUIDDY's liability with respect to the customer, for a hidden defect, cannot be called into question.

Defects and damage to the delivered products resulting from abnormal storage and/or preservation conditions by the customer, including in the event of an accident of any kind, will not entitle to the warranty provided by SQUIDDY.

As part of the warranty for hidden defects, SQUIDDY will be responsible only for the free replacement of defective goods, without the customer being entitled to claim damages for any reason.

​

SQUIDDY guarantees its products against hidden defects, in accordance with the law, customs, case law, and under the following conditions:

​

  • The warranty applies only to products that have become the property of the customer on a regular basis; - it only applies to products fully marketed by SQUIDDY;

  • It is excluded as soon as our products have been used in conditions of use or performance not provided for.

​

The SQUIDDY warranty only concerns hidden defects. Since our customers are individuals and professionals, a hidden defect is understood to mean a manufacturing defect that makes the product unsuitable for its intended use and cannot be detected by the customer before use. A design defect is not a hidden defect, and our customers are deemed to have received all information relating to our products. SQUIDDY does not cover damages and wear resulting from the adaptation or special, abnormal, or non-mounting of its products unless it has been done under its supervision. The warranty is limited to the replacement or repair of defective parts. The warranty is limited to 24 months of use. The parts are deemed to be used by customers no later than 2 months from the availability.

In any case, our customers must justify the date of the start of use. Our warranty automatically ceases when the customer does not notify us of the alleged defect within ten (10) clear days from its discovery. It is the customer's responsibility to prove the day of this discovery.

Contractual warranties do not cover:

​

  • the replacement of consumables (batteries)

  • the abnormal or non-compliant use of the product. The customer is invited in this regard to carefully read the instruction manual provided with the product,

  • defects and their consequences resulting from the intervention of a repairer not approved by the product's manufacturer,

  • defects and their consequences linked to non-compliance with the use for which the product is intended.

  • defects and their consequences related to any external cause.

The commercial warranty can only be applied to products in good cleanliness and impeccable appearance.

The warranty applies only to products that have become the property of the customer on a regular basis; - it only applies to products fully marketed by SQUIDDY;

It is excluded as soon as our products have been used in conditions of use or performance not provided for.

In the event of a defective product, and if the said product is no longer available, the manufacturer may offer the customer a similar model as a replacement.
